The founders opened the first division of the company, The Toy Box Storage, LLC, in a 5,000 square foot warehouse off of route 20 in Marlborough, MA. Although October of 2009 was late to get started in the storage business for boats, the founders of The Toy Box worked diligently to spread the word of a motorsport storage solution in the Metro West, MA area, and within a few months the warehouse was filled to capacity with vehicles within its very first season. Through talking to their clients, the founders soon identified that they were on to something much bigger than just motorsport storage, they remained hard at work throughout the winter developing the next division of the company.

When The Toy Box’s customers returned in the spring of 2010 to pick up their vehicles from storage, they were pleasantly surprised by a whole new business entity operating out of the same storage building they first visited – The Toy Wash, a professional auto detailing company. The Toy Wash began as a logical extension of The Toy Box’s services, which quickly grew into an auto detailing company unlike any other – with convenience, luxury, and innovation. The Toy Wash is Central Massachusetts’ Premiere Motorsport Appearance Center, offering it’s clients the finest and most complete automotive spa treatments and services including wheel refinishing and swirl-eliminating paint correction. Among many other services which set The Toy Wash apart from traditional auto detailers, The Toy Wash became the first auto detailing company in the nation to offer a Free Mercedes-Benz loaner car to its customers.

With word of The Toy Box and The Toy Wash quickly spreading throughout the motorsport communities of New England, the parent company of Toy Motorsports, LLC was established to be the main business entity of the growing businesses, and enter the market of aftermarket automotive accessories and services.
